If a person has been rejected for a volunteer job, he or she will appear in the Rejected Volunteers queue in the Volunteer Pipeline (People > Volunteer Pipeline > Rejected Volunteers). When a person has been rejected for any requirement, the requirement is added to the individual's detailed record with the status of Not Approved. If the volunteer tries to apply for the a job again, the application is immediately directed to the Rejections queue.
Sometimes, a person may be rejected for reasons that have nothing to do with the volunteer opportunity. For example, a background check may come back as failed (rejected) due to something that has nothing to do with the opportunity he or she is volunteering for. In this case, the rejection decision can be overridden (see edit a rejection below).
To view and handle rejections
Once a requirement has been rejected, you can edit it if needed. Remember that when a requirement has been rejected, it is updated in the individual's record and is checked every time the individual applies for a volunteer opportunity.

Note: If you edit a Not Approved status to Approved, you must resubmit the volunteer application for the person (or have them resubmit) if you want to use the volunteer pipeline.
